Having stumbled across your website. I can't fully express how beautiful and clever it is. What a wonderful tribute to your parents and your tipuna but also to yourselves. I know and grew up with each of you , Uncle Wally and Aunty Lovie's children. Your home was my second home and vice versa. Sharing so many good times and milestones. How lucky were we ? To have had the parents and the childhood we had.
Steven - I read your words on life, love and death. They resonated with me., so true. Took them to heart. Life lessons for anyone and everyone.
Jenny - so much more than a neighbour or a friend - another sister!
Don't need to say any more eh Jen?
Ututaonga whanau No. 21 Glenfield - such a privilege to have lived, laughed and loved with you.
I love you all.
From Roy and Hine Smith's daughter at No. 16 Glenfield - Gloria

Pakeha from Gisborne originally from South Africa. I think that there is not enough done to commemorate these boys. So brave and so young, just like my late dad was. May their dear souls rest in Peace
